Who this notice is from.

What we collect.

Our forms collect the information you enter: first name, email, city and country, availability, outing budget, activity preference, chosen involvement, and any optional plan or message. We record the time, consent notice version, a submission reference and campaign tags present in the link you followed. We also retain a keyed hash of your connection’s IP address for rate limiting; we do not put the raw IP address into the lead record. Standard hosting access logs may separately contain network information.

03 /

How we use it.

We use signup information to record local interest, understand practical preferences, provide your on-screen guide and potentially contact you directly about a relevant introduction, hosting opportunity or request. We use contact messages to address questions and concerns. We do not sell signup details or send them to an external form provider. We do not send automatic email notifications from this website.

04 /

Storage and access.

Submissions are stored in a private server-side text file outside the public website directory. Access is limited to people administering October404 and the hosting infrastructure needed to operate it. We do not publish your card or give your email to other members through this form. Any later contact-detail exchange should happen with permission.

Cookies and advertising links.

The site uses an essential session cookie to secure forms, retain your entered details during a submission, and show your confirmation page. We store limited campaign tags in that session and attach them to a submission. The session cookie ends with the browser session. This version of the site has no Meta Pixel, third-party analytics, embedded social widgets or advertising cookies. Fonts and images are served locally.

Your choices and retention.

Only provide information you want us to hold. Do not include health details, exact home addresses, private information about other people, or a detailed account of a relationship ending. You can ask us to correct or delete a record or stop contact using the contact form. We keep records while they remain useful for the requested purpose; you may request deletion at any time. Routine logs or restricted backups may follow the host’s separate retention cycle.

Adults and future changes.

Signups are for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe information about a child has been submitted, tell us through the privacy contact route. If the service changes how it collects or shares information, this notice will be updated before those changes apply.
