THE PLAN
CHANGED.
YOUR PEOPLE
ARE OUT THERE.

A new city. A different chapter. A little company.

Meet two people through three small plans you never got around to. Less awkward mingling. More “same time next week?”

LESS SCROLLING. MORE SHOWING UP.01 / THE FIRST HELLO
Three adults sharing coffee and a conversation around a city map at an outdoor café.
3×3PEOPLE. PLANS.
A PLACE TO BEGIN.

A table for three.
A little room for something new.

THREE PEOPLESmall enough to feel like people.
THREE REAL PLANSSomething to do. Something to share.
YOUR KIND OF PACELocal places. Agreed budgets. Easy exits.
THIS IS FOR THE IN-BETWEEN CHAPTER.

YOU KNOW THE CITY.
JUST NOT YOUR PEOPLE.

Maybe you moved for a job. A person. A version of life that changed.

Now you have a postcode, a favourite takeaway, and a list of places you meant to visit with someone.

Let’s start with one of those places.

BRING A PLAN.
FIND SOME PEOPLE.

How the introductions work
01

THE PLAN YOU SAVED.

Pick something you meant to do in your city. A café, a curious walk, a gloriously imperfect pottery class.

02

TWO NEW PEOPLE.

When local introductions open, we look for compatible schedules, budgets and a comfortable travel distance.

03

A REASON TO MEET AGAIN.

Three people take turns sharing three small outings. Your original plan gets a different kind of company.

Start with your city.
The life story is optional.

Three adults getting to know each other on a relaxed riverside city walk.A WALK IS A PERFECTLY GOOD FIRST PLAN.
YOU DON’T NEED A BETTER INTRODUCTION.

JUST A LITTLE
LESS PRESSURE.

01

No room to work.

A trio, rather than a crowd. Everyone has a name, a plan, and a place in the conversation.

02

No big backstory required.

Share an outing idea. What happened before this chapter can stay yours.

03

No expensive night out.

Choose free or low-cost plans. Agree the details before anyone commits.

ONE LITTLE DETOUR. A MUCH LONGER CONNECTION.

SOMEONE ELSE’S
UNFINISHED PLAN.
YOUR FIRST GOOD DAY.

Our Borrowed Plan idea lets a trio adopt an outing from another city. With permission, a simple postcard can travel back:

“Your abandoned plan became our first afternoon together.”

All your questions
Is this a dating service?

October404 is built for friendship. The point is a small local circle and something to do together. Joining is not an invitation for romantic approaches.

Is there an active group in my city?

We’re at the founding-interest stage. All cities currently use a waitlist. Signing up does not confirm an active chapter, a place in a trio, or a meeting date. We’ll contact you directly if a suitable next step becomes available.

What happens after I sign up?

Your request is saved and you immediately receive a Missing Saturday itinerary on the confirmation page. If a local introduction becomes possible, we may contact you using the email you provided. There is no automatic matching or guaranteed response date.

Do I have to explain why my plans changed?

No. We ask for practical preferences and an optional outing idea. You can share as much or as little backstory as you like when meeting people. Please leave sensitive personal details out of your 404 Card.

How much does it cost?

Joining the founding waitlist and receiving the guide is free. No card is requested and no subscription starts. Future hosted introductions may have a fee, shown before you choose to book. Travel, food and venue costs are separate and should be agreed beforehand.

Why three people?

A trio gives the conversation more than one direction and lets each person bring a plan. It is small enough to remember everyone’s name and large enough to take some pressure off a first meeting.

YOUR NEXT CHAPTER STARTS SMALL

THE NEXT GOOD THING
MIGHT BE A PERSON.

One city. Two new faces. A plan worth leaving the house for.
