The postcode was right. The plan wasn’t.

Maybe you arrived with two suitcases and a job offer. Maybe you moved into someone else’s world. Maybe the people you expected to know never became your people. The city carries on, even when the version of life you pictured does not. October404 begins in that awkward space.

An invitation is easier to answer than “put yourself out there.”

You don’t need another instruction to be more outgoing. You need a place, a time, and someone who expects you. Our answer is deliberately modest: three adults, three unfinished local plans, and a reason to meet again.

Why October. Why 404.

October feels like a turning point: familiar streets, different light, another season beginning. A 404 means the thing you expected isn’t at that address. Put them together and you get our starting belief: the original plan can be missing while the next connection is still possible.

We’re starting small, on purpose.

October404 is gathering founding interest before opening local introductions. We would rather wait for compatible schedules and a workable plan than promise a bustling community that isn’t there yet. You can raise your hand now, receive your guide, and decide about an introduction later.

THE NEXT SMALL STEP

You can start with a place.
